Road Patrols by Nurul

Today after morning-tea we saw Mr Reid and a police officer. We went where the crossing was and the police officer told us what to do. After he explained everything we should know he put the signs out.
The police officer said we had to be in buddies. My buddy was Musika. He told me to look left and right and put my left hand up. Musika said, "Signs out, check."
I said, "Clear ."
Musika said, "Cross now, signs in."
Then it was my turn,  "Signs out, check."
Musika said, "Clear.  cross now, signs in."
Afterwards we went back to class and we learned about why students should make the rules.

My name is Tessa, I am from Parkview Parua school my favourite part is when you said the "sings out, cheak, clear, cross now, signs in" because we have the same saying at our school.you brought me back to when I did road patrol. Next time you could add a video of some of the road patrols saying "signs out, cheak, clear, cross now, signs in.”

  2. Hi nurul my name is Jessie from Parkview Parua School
I love the way you talked about road patrol, at my school I do road patrol at school.
I loved the way you explained what you did and how you did it.
How long did it take you and you’re buddy to learn the signals?

Hello my name is Jorja, and I’m from Parkview Parua School. I like the way you have put what to day and when to say to keep people, safe and not get run over. Did you think about putting more information like did you get actual, pedestrians or did you use people from your school? Next time you could put what the rules, you learned about were so then people and kids were really safe, and didn't break any rules.

    Kind regards
    Jorja

  4. Hi, my name is Andrea from Parkview Parua school
It is so cool how you have road patrol at your school. we have it at our school too and I am also a proud road patroller. I like how much detail you told us about the steps you took while training. What is your favorite part of road patrol? Maybe next time you could say why the students should make the rules which you said about at the end and explain what you talked about for that. If you would like to see my learning you can click on my name above this comment. =)

  5. Hi i'm Katie from Parkview Parua school
I like this blog post because of how you explained it and I also like how you added a picture. It reminded me of the time I was training to become a part of the road patrol team. I remember thinking I would forget what to do but I did not and I am still doing road patrol now. Maybe next time you could tell us how much you enjoy it and what your favorite part was.

  6. G’day Logan here from Parkview Parua School,
I liked your post about what I assume from reading it is the training for road patrol. I have done road patrol here a my school for two years (I’m no longer doing it) so I know all of these “strategies” if you want to call them that. It was a good post and overall I think that road patrol is very cool and fun. Some questions I have are was anyone else out there with you? And how long were you out there.
    Logan.
