We finally have this year's monitor badge. I still have mine from last year. It sounds like an easy job but it's not as easy as you think. You have to make sure the kids listen to you, you have to make sure no one's doing anything you wouldn't want them to do and if something does go horribly wrong it would come back to us and it'll be our fault.
I think it's a huge responsibility to look after the class especially if the teacher isn't in the classroom with you. Everyone has a chance to become a good monitor. I am proud to say that I am a 2017 monitor!
We are Years 7 and 8 learners at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, New Zealand and our teacher is Mr Reid

Receiving My Monitor's Badge by Heilala
Yay! On Monday I had just received another Monitor's badge. All the Monitors' badges were for some of Room 12 and 11 students. Our badge is basically anything that involves monitoring work . I am proud to have another Monitor's badge. If you are one of the students that received a badge then you should be proud to have it.
Congratulations 2016 Monitors!!
