Last week Mt Cook broke the record with the most people to visit the mountain. Mt Cook is the biggest mountain in New Zealand and during the past few years it has had over a million people visit it. Nine years ago the Department of Conversation (DOC) upgrade around Mt Cook made it easier for the visitors. The DOC put in more roads for cars, more passageways and more toilets around the area.
I think that it's cool that a huge mountain hit 1 million visitors and online reviews and I hope one day to visit it.
